Will i be entitled to a new computer with insurance cover?

I have a small laptop and when i purchased it i took out insurance cover for 4'00 pounds a month the guy at the shop said this would cover me if i accidently dropped it - i have had it for 2 years and have dropped it several times and there is some damage on the screen like big black marks ..it's ok to use at the minute but does anyone know if i would get a replacement if it gets worst? as some companies are very hard to deal with regarding replacements and what quetions doo they ask you when you put in for a claim?
