I signed a tenancy agreement without receiving deposit... am I screwed?

I'm a landlord, and I'm still a virgin regarding the wanton ways of money. I just signed a tenancy agreement and gave a copy to the tenant WITHOUT having received any form of payment yet (not even the deposit). Thankfully I didn't give the house keys. Can the tenant **** me over in some way with the tenancy agreement in hand?
