Been forced to live in a small town surrounded by rednecks because of work. What can I do to be more happy?

I was raised in one of the most affluent areas of the country growing up. I have also lived in other very affluent areas during my life due to my profession. But now due to my job, I have been relocated to an area that is rural and filled with redneck hillbillies. I have nothing in common with them, and it upsets me everyday I have to see these people around me. My job pays me well so I take it for what it is, and try to make good out of the position I am in currently. But these people drive me crazy and I choose to stay to my own because of it. Anyone have any suggestions to take my mind off these people that I have to put up with everyday?
