What do people think of American accents from different countries?

Such as Europe. I find it highly offensive when everybody thinks that all Texans have a hillbilly accent. I don't and it hurts to see people making fun of Texans because of the way we speak, although we sound nothing like that. Do you think we all sound like cowboys from America? I searched on youtube, people who were imitating american accents, and it always came out to sound like a prep girl, or a hillbilly. Does it make you feel annoyed when some people try to imitate your accents (wherever you're from.) DON'T BE RUDE, OR OFFENDED!! TY
