In a BMD scan,does x-rays affect ovaries?

Xrays over time in general will cause cancer. It takes 10 or so years. But. it will catch up to you. No one in the Medical establishment cares how exposed a person is to radiation. Nor do they want you to know how much is too much Or.. how much they give to you. They just don't want to study this further or to protect the consumer.. because it is a huge...huge..money maker. People get Xrays all the time. Also.. if possible only get ultra sounds.. they cause no cancer. Insurance does not want to pay. You may have to pay cash..but its worth the cost out of pocket vs.. getting cancer later. Yes.. the docs will tell you that ultra sounds won't show everything. Then.. I don't get it. I am the one who is responsible of managing my own health and body.. not the doctors who are making huge huge profits. The GYN can also take ultra sounds of your ovaries and do a pelvic ultra sound. They don't have to give pap smears in the barbaric way they once did. Its humiliating and they don't have to. Again.. you may have to pay cash out of pocket. But.. it won't give you cancer if you do.
